Translate Legacy Desktop Features to Responsive

Forrester Research awarded USAA the highest overall score in its 2017 Mobile Banking Benchmark Methodology citing USAA as a leader in useful and usable mobile services.

This was a mobile parity project which required me to lead the design and interaction translations of 32 legacy (desktop) feature/functions across USAA’s credit card, auto insurance and banking LOBs into branded, Bootstrap responsive patterns. As UI Producer, not only was I responsible for the design translations, but I was also responsible for successfully fulfilling each step of USAA’s strict UX tollgate process which culminated in a formal presentation to USAA’s Member Experience Review (MER) committee for go live no/yes vote.

UX Project Tollgates

UI Producer

I was responsible for producing the project-level design artifacts and then circulating those artifacts with enterprise standards teams for review and approval. These review tollgates culminated towards the more important and final review known as MER (Member Experience Review) where a final go live vote was determined.

This project was pretty turn-and-burn from a UI design perspective. It launched on-time and on-budget.
